Princess Sylvie watches over her very old grandmother, Marie, a former Ancient Egypt’s Queen.

 

A magical promise binds them: Sylvie has sworn to Marie that she will die at home, in the house she loves, no matter what, and that a nursing home would never be an option.

 

But soon, the burning breath of a fierce dragon plunges Marie’s house into an unbearable heatwave. 

Will Sylvie keep her promise?

 

Little by little, everything begins to unravel in this documentary about end-of-life, filial love, and the weight of our elders. It is a story about women, old age and childhood, where tragedy intertwines with comedy.
