A graduate of the National Film School Louis-Lumière (Paris, France) in the film option, Eva works as a writer-director and cinematographer in both documentary and fiction. She operates the camera herself on all her films. Looking through the viewfinder allows her to truly see the people she films and to adjust her position to capture their emotions as precisely as possible: the camera becomes a sensitive writing tool, in service of a singular closeness with her subjects. She is also a professional underwater camera operator, specializing in underwater cinematography.

Six years of experience as an electrician on feature films and series deeply nourished her hands-on and collaborative approach to filmmaking. In 2025, she completed the "Fundamentals of Production" training program at the Lussas Documentary School (France).

Her first fiction short film, From Salvador (2024), developed during a writing residency at the Off-Courts festival in Trouville-sur-Mer, received a Silver Remi Award at WorldFest Houston.

A promise to an Egyptian Queen is her first documentary film.

 

Eva is also part of the CUT! collective for ecological transition on film sets.
